Angel Bonne. Versatile Cuban musician, singer, composer of wide popular acceptance with an outstanding artistic career.

He graduated from the National School of Art of Cuba in 1980. His quality as a saxophonist led him to work with different Cuban groups such as Grupo Galaxia, Santiago Feliú's, Beatriz Márquez's (where he also performed as director), Granma Group (from Santiago de Cuba), Cuban Modern Music Orchestra (from Santiago de Cuba) and lastly, he was with the Juan Formell Orchestra, Los Van Van, where in addition to playing the saxophone, he performed the functions of arranger and singer. . He has also taken part in activities of Grupo Síntesis and with Chucho Valdés and his Grupo Irakere, among other outstanding personalities of the Cuban musical world. In the recordings of the albums by Laronte, Amaury Pérez Vidal and Evelyn García Márquez, he participated as a saxophonist. He decides to make his solo career as a singer, although without abandoning his role as an instrumentalist and his qualities as a composer and, to achieve this, he is accompanied by the LM Overdose Group.

Several record productions illustrate the solo work of the musician. Versatility, or rather, Bonne's insistence on not being framed in a single musical genre, has led him to venture into jazz, Nueva Trova and popular music —the latter he brings from the roots, from his native Santiago de Cuba. The artist confesses that genetically his father, Enrique Bonne, «has a lot to do with his taste in music. He grew up watching him play the piano, and the drums played in his backyard. There he visited the same Pacho Alonso as Omara Portuondo, and other greats.
