Born in Havana in 1937. One of the female voices that achieved national resonance since her debut at the Ali Bar cabaret in Havana, in 1956. She performed for Cuban radio and television and recorded long-playing records for the MODINER labels, PANART and MAYPE. As an interpreter of boleros, she also established a chair in Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. The interpretations that she made of the bolero-tango, Besos de fuego, and the Sombras corridor, are still well remembered by the Cuban public. She resides outside of Cuba.
