Maikel Dinza Hechavarria. He is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and singer. He is the creator of the current Maikel Dinza & Soneros de la Juventud Orchestra.

He was born in Santiago de Cuba on May 1, 1986, in a very musical family. He began his music studies at the age of 7, specializing in cello, at the "José María Heredia" vocational art school (E.V.A.), graduating from elementary level.

In 1993 he began at the National School of Art (ENA) in the City of Havana, where he joined the prestigious school choir, thus participating in two international choir festivals, the "CORHABANA International Choir Festival" and the "Santiago de Cuba”, in addition to singing in dissimilar activities.

In 1994 he moved back to his hometown to continue his high school studies at the “Esteban Salas” Provincial Music Conservatory; In this prestigious conservatory he had the privilege of receiving Harmony and Counterpoint classes from Professor “Filié”, he also received Cello classes from the Magnificent Cellist, member of the Berlin Philharmonic “Douglas Vistel”.

While in high school, he had the honor of joining the chamber orchestra "Camerata Esteban Salas", where he combined his studies at school with the work of the orchestra, serving him as a pre-professional practice, also being in the last year he was part of a newly created project called “Salsa Chula”, here he ventured as musical director, singer, composer and arranger.

Once he graduated from high school, he went on to carry out social service in the province of Granma, at the "Manuel Muñoz Cedeño" Provincial School of Art as a cello teacher, here while fulfilling his social service he alternated with many groups in various aspects of the music, sometimes as a bass player doing jazz, others as a cellist, others as a singer and so on always making music.

He has joined numerous groups such as the Orquesta Timberera de Oriente, Suave Tumbao, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco, as a singer and composer, he simultaneously tours internationally as a bassist with Maikel Blanco and Salsa Mayor, Timberos Allstar and as a bassist in the Habana C & Yuly group. until creating the current orchestra Maikel Dinza & Soneros de la Juventud.

He plays at the Isla Mujeres Caribbean festival accompanying the prestigious Mexican-Cuban singer and dancer Karenka Juntorena, at the same festival he alternates with other renowned Mexican artists. He later returned to Havana and worked as a producer for the Alma de Sonero album under the musical direction and voice of Mayito Rivera, a record with great acceptance in the international market.

From a vocal perspective, he intends to defend the son, the guaracha, the bolero and other Cuban genres with youthful sounds.

He is the producer of the Disco Alma de Sonero under the musical direction and voice of Mayito Rivera, a disc with great acceptance in the international market.

He also recorded Mayito's second solo album, but this time as a bassist and singer.

The third record production Pa que bailen to, by Maikel Dinza & Soneros de la Juventud is a bet by the Unicorn Seal in favor of popular dance music with a strong influence of traditional son and the sound of eastern Cuba.

He is the author of ten of the twelve songs that make up the phonogram, as well as the musical arranger and producer of the CD with excellent sound quality. Carlos de la Vega, Osvaldo Padrón, Ramón de la Paz and Yerandis Ozuna took part in the recording; while it was mixed by Osvaldo Padrón who also shared mastering tasks with Diego Montana; photography by Annia González and design by Daryel Mustelier.

In 2016 he recorded "Giving hearts" a production nominated for the Cubadisco award as an interpreter,

The titles of the songs are: Pa que bailen to, Así es mi son, I had to forget her, Rumba as she wants, I would like, She wants a prince, Life in Rosa, You let her go, Chubby but tasty, Women of today Today, If I could and Dance well.

The songs I would like and I had to forget her make up the radio hit lists in countries like Panama and Argentina.
