Among the oldest institutions in Santa Clara is the Villa Clara Symphony Orchestra. It was founded in 1926, letting itself be guided in the last fifteen years by the teacher Irina Toledo, who has managed to merge the youth and experience of her musicians to achieve a wide archive and repertoire of Cuban and international music.
